Strode College’s men’s 1st team have struggled in the league this season and currently sit bottom of their league. Having not won a game all season and amassing just one point from a 5-5 draw against St Brendan’s Sixth Form College, the team have had a season to forget.

The 1st team’s next fixture comes on Wednesday 25th February away to City of Bath College. Bath are currently up to fourth in the table after their convincing 5-1 win against Guernsey College.

In March Strode will play their last three matches of the season against Bath, Guernsey and finally on the 25th of the month the season concludes with an away game to Bridgwater Men’s 2nd team.

The 2nd team have enjoyed only a little more success than the first team. They again sit bottoms of their league but have managed two wins this season. Although they have lost the other eight games.

Their best result came when they won 4-2 in the first game of the season at home to Weymouth College 1st team. Strode’s worst loss was arguably when they conceded six goals away to Cabot Federation without reply back in October.

If Strode manage to win their last two games of the season, and other results go their way they could climb off the bottom of the table and not finish last.

Their last two games come on Wednesday 25th February at home to Cabot Federation and Wednesday 18th March also at home against Kingston Maurward.
